Welcome to the official Staff Guide for NAPOMAN's server, fellow Staff Member! This website should hopefully tell you a lot of things about this server's staff system and should also hopefully get you to be a great moderator for the server! Below, you will find more that you need to know as a staff member, so scroll down and read, please.
The server consists of multiple staff roles, ranging from Trial Moderators to the Co-Owner/Prime Minister of the server. Mainly, it is the Server Director that is the highest among the Staff team, however, the Co-Owner/Prime Minister role will be included in this list. The Server Director has the highest authority when it comes to pretty much everything in the server, and can decide upon everyone what they want.
Here is a listing of all the current Staff Roles in the server, as well as how much is expected from them and in which priority they are found in:
Staff Members in this priority level have the highest expectancy on them, and they should act according to their priorities and roles they're found in, as they are basically the "Most Important Members" of the team. High-Priority members also hold the most power in the server, and no one really controls them. Because of that, they are mostly free to do whatever they do, as well as their own decisions, which should be respected by the staff team. If anyone has a complaint about one of their decisions, it's best to resort to peaceful talks about it in the "Global" (NAPOMAN'S Staff Chat) channel or their DMs. As for the Server Designer (NSD) being surronded by parentheses: The role belongs to @somerandomiraqi, who has the higher Specialist Overwatch (SO) Role.
Staff Members in this priority level, just like the High-Priority Staff, have also a lot of expectancy for them. They are in charge of monitoring certain parts of the server the best, and generally help the lower Staff Team whenever they need help with something. This is the highest rank a regular Staff Member can be found in, unless one of the High-Priority Staff quits, then one of these members may be hired to replace that role or become a High-Priority Staff in general.
Staff Members in this priority level are expected to at least know basic moderation at this point. These Staff Members actively help the higher ups with monitoring the Low-Priority Staff Members. They are also at a stage of learning, though more advanced. At the level of Trial Administration (TADM), you are expected to know more than other Mid-Priority Staff Members.
Staff Members in this priority level have recently been hired to the team, and will have to know what to do to keep the server safe and moderated. These will be assisted by mostly the Administration (ADM) team,
however, other kinds of Staff Members (ex. Specialists, ADMC and HoS) can also help them.
This one will be too long to add here, so: For more Information on the staff priorities and roles, please read this entire Markdown File below:

To ensure that Staff Members are following the guidebook of the server, their rules, and actually doing their duty, we have come up with a warning and strike system. The system was not designed to publicly shame Staff Members for breaking the rules or not following their instructed commands, but meant for them to learn their mistakes. This should not affect how Staff Members act around you, nor should it make you feel like a "lower-performing"/"problematic" moderator, they should only affect how you are promoted if there ever are promotions.
Punishments can be as low as a warning all the way up to... the public execution. So it's best for YOU to behave! And since we want our Staff Members to ACTUALLY promote, it's best you try to act accordingly, otherwise you may not be chosen over someone else.
Just to clear some things up: We as a staff team should be UNITED, not divided, just because one is performing worse than the other doesn't mean they should be seen as automatically bad. Everyone deserves their chances as a Staff Member, as they and everypne else may bring great use to the team. As the Head of Staff, I do not wish any Staff Member to feel unfairly treated because to their record of warnings and strikes, I want to be cool and get along with with everyone in the Staff Team and help them whenever they are in need of my help. You are all something to this server!
Warnings in this server are, just like for every other member in the server, a warning, but these warnings are instead logged with the Dyno bot. Warnings can slowly build up into a strike if not careful. Warnings are however automatically removed after one month. This timer resets if the staff member gets another warning. Do NOT take this as the end of your world however, it's just a simple warning just like how other members get one, and plus, is deleted after a month!
Unlike Warnings, Strikes are much heavier, with three strikes being your last straw and a clear warning that your behaviour MUST change. If you reach your (non-existent) fourth strike, you are most likely to either be seriously demoted or terminated from the Staff Team.
Strikes are handed out whenever a Staff Member does something bad that's more serious, such as breaking a more serious/major rule, doing actions without authorisation, and so on. If you get one strike, it's best you learn from it and make sure you never do such mistakes again. And, if you get two strikes, please reconsider your actions at this point and think: "How can I not do something like this again in the future?".
Simply put: Yes.
Other staff punishments also include a demotion, termination or a public execution. These are ONLY reserved for much heavier offences in the server however, or if you hit your strike limit (which as said before is 4 strikes). Being honest here, in order to even get one of these punishments, you WILL have to do something really stupid or bad for any of these three to happen, or constantly getting yourself in trouble. Do not worry if you got one strike so far, you are very likely to be fine with just a strike.
To make sure that the server is safe, and that there is a progression of some sort, we have split certain permissions among Staff Roles to make sure the server is not destroyed by a malicious user. Here are said Staff Roles and which permissions they have:
Moderation Overwatch and above.
Trial Administration and above.
Senior Staff and above.
Senior Moderator and above.
Senior Moderator and above.
Moderation Overwatch and above.
High-Priority Staff only.
ALL Staff Members.
It's best that you read the Staff Roles List, the punishments and what they are, and the Role Permissions. Otherwise, to sum everything up: As a staff member, you must know who has the High-Priority Roles, the Mid-High Priority Roles, your own role priorities, what warnings, strikes and so on serve for, and the role permissions. Go read those if you got the time, it will surely help you in the later future.
So, I hope you have read everything that was stated in the website, and I hope that this website has also taught you something as well! Have fun working as a moderator for Napoman's server, and make sure to not break the guidebook's rules, the orders you must do, and act accordingly as a moderator! ;)
Your dear Head of Staff
